Salud Para La Gente (Salud) is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Family Medicine Physician to join our and clinical team in beautiful Watsonville, California.
\nSalud is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) dedicated to providing high-quality, comprehensive, and cost-effective primary care to underserved communities throughout the Monterey Bay area including Santa Cruz and Monterey Counties.

- Flexible 4-day workweek (full-time or part-time options) \n
- All outpatient practice no hospital call \n
- Full-spectrum Family Medicine panel, including dedicated pediatrics time (if desired) \n
- Average 20 patients per day \n

- Dental, Optometry, Behavioral Health, and robust Community Health Services \n
- Healthy Steps site with parent educators and lactation support \n
- On-site diabetic nurse educator and Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) program \n

Salary & Benefits
\nSalary Range: $270,400 $304,337.58 per year

Responsibilities
\nDirect Patient Care
\n- \n
- Develop and manage a family practice panel providing comprehensive, attentive care. \n
- Conduct physical exams, order and interpret labs/imaging, prescribe medications, and recommend lifestyle modifications. \n
- Perform procedures within training and privileges. \n
- Collaborate across Saluds departments including Pediatrics, OB, Behavioral Health, Dental, and Community Health Services. \n
- Refer to specialists as appropriate and manage urgent situations when necessary. \n
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR). \n
- Work closely with management to maintain provider productivity standards. \n

- Support recruitment of physicians and advanced practice clinicians. \n

- Maintain compliance with clinic policies, safety protocols, and confidentiality standards (HIPAA). \n
Qualifications
\nMinimum Requirements:
\n- \n
- Valid California Physicians License and DEA License \n
- Current CPR Certification and California Drivers License \n
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine (preferred) \n
- Ability to obtain and maintain hospital admitting privileges at local hospitals \n
