Exciting Opportunity for a Urologist
Our organization in Mason City, Iowa, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist to become a part of our Urology department. We are a physician-owned, multi-specialty group dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare.
Opportunity Highlights- Join an existing team of one Urologist.
- Participate in a call rotation of 1:4, with the potential for additional compensated call shifts.
- Utilize the DaVinci Robot XI for surgical procedures.
- Your workweek will include both clinic and surgical days.
- Conduct surgeries at MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a 342-bed regional teaching hospital, as well as at the Ambulatory Surgery Center located on the same campus.
- Engage in outreach opportunities at one of our seven critical access hospitals within our 14-county network.
- Serve a primary service area of approximately 260,000 residents.
- Work at a Level III Trauma Center equipped with helicopter services.
- Annual salary of $535,283, plus production incentives.
- A bonus package totaling $72,000 for the first two years ($144,000 overall).
- Productivity bonus of $66.39 per wRVU for work exceeding 8,799.
- Included call of 1:4, with 91 days per year; additional call beyond this is compensated at $792 per day.
- Opportunity for a two-year track to become a shareholder.

- Board Certified/Board Eligible; must achieve board certification within three years of eligibility.

- Graduation from an accredited medical or osteopathic school is required.
- Completion of a relevant residency program demonstrating competency as a physician.
- Ability to obtain medical staff privileges at Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Must hold or be eligible for a physician license in the State of Iowa, along with an Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
- Population of approximately 30,000, making it the largest urban center in northern Iowa.
- Located two hours from both Minneapolis and Des Moines.
