FULL-TIME OB/GYN OPPORTUNITY CATHOLIC HEALTH OF LONG ISLAND
Job Description
We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN to join our expanding Women's Health Service Line. This role will involve rotating through our outpatient facilities located in West Islip, Babylon, and Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip.

We encompass six hospitals, three skilled nursing facilities, a regional Home Care and Hospice service, and a community-based agency for individuals with developmental disabilities. In recent years, we have made significant investments in our Women's Health Service Line, aiming to create an integrated program that includes specialties such as OB/GYN, gynecologic oncology, maternal-fetal medicine, urogynecology, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Our OB/GYN team supports approximately 4,700 deliveries annually.
Clinical Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive care for patients facing gynecologic issues, including outpatient assessments, inpatient care, and major surgical procedures.
- Provide services in line with established standards of care while adhering to ethical principles of the medical profession.
- Engage in Graduate Medical Education (GME) activities for fellows, residents, and medical students, including lectures, preceptorships, and small group teaching. A strong commitment to academic medicine and education is essential.
- Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call coverage.
- Contribute to clinical trials and quality initiatives based on performance data.
- Must possess a valid NYS MD or DO license.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Demonstrated strong clinical background in evaluation and management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels to foster a culture of patient safety and performance improvement.
The salary range for this position is $312,271 - $465,235. This estimate reflects a good faith effort and actual compensation will depend on various factors, including education, training, skills, licensure, certification, competencies, and relevant experience. Please note that this range does not include bonuses, incentive pay, or other forms of compensation, nor does it account for the value of benefits.
