Position Summary
\nTIC is looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for their project located in Dryfork,VA.
\nExperience Level
\n- \n
- 3+ years of experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic. \n
- Must be able to maintain, diagnose, and repair all types of heavy construction equipment including hydraulic,
\n electric, and power train systems. \n - Experience working with the following equipment: Caterpillar, Liebherr, Xtreme, Takeuchi. \n
- Experience working with the following diagnostic systems: CAT ET, Cummins INSITE, Diesel Laptop. \n
Job Details

- Up to $34.00 per hour. \n
- $100 per days worked per diem. \n
- Current schedule is 7:00am – 5:00pm, Monday – Friday. \n
- Must be willing to work additional overtime, weekends and nights when required. \n
- All offers are contingent on your ability to pass a Drug and Alcohol and non DOT physical test \n
Qualifications
\n• The person in this position needs to constantly move about a construction/industrial site, so should be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
\n • Constantly works in a construction environment and will be exposed to changing outdoor weather conditions
\n • Work irregular hours, weekends, overtime and holidays as required
\n • May be required to use ladders/mechanical platforms/manlifts/scaffold to access required equipment/work areas (may exceed 200 feet), so must be able to climb and maintain balance on formwork, steel formwork, stairs, ladders and scaffolds
\n • Move and work in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven surfaces
\n • Must be able to complete tasks in a noisy and dusty environment
\n • May be required/able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds across construction/industrial site
\n • Must have required tools
\n • Observe and comply with all safety and project rules, perform other duties as required
\n • Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing and fit for duty medical and non DOT physical test
