TECHNICIAN
WFMJ is looking for a full-time Master Control Operator/Technical Director who is willing to work a very flexible schedule that includes weekends and various hours during the week. Qualified
individuals will operate switching and
automation equipment in Master Control along with operating Ross Overdrive production automation equipment in the Control Room. Computer skills, timekeeping, and the ability to organize and multi-task are a must. Duties include master control operation, remote feeds, syndication acquisition and segmenting shows/spots using Florical. Training can be provided if necessary for industry-specific software. As a
Technical Director, the position requires good communication skills to work with producers and to direct talent and guests. The TD will also be responsible for coding newscasts and local shows. Prior experience in Master Control & Technical Directing is strongly preferred but not required.
