Communication is vital in this industry and includes listening, speaking, and writing. Working on the top of the world most days is priceless; however, you must be able to get there. Climbing ladders and working at heights is an absolute must. Employees must have the ability to perform assigned tasks daily with strong attention to detail.\n

\nInstall and repair roofs, flashings, and surfaces.\n
\n
\nRemove old roofing materials (tear off).\n
\n
\nSweep and clean roofs to prepare them for the application of new roofing materials.\n
\n
\nClean work areas, work vehicles, and equipment.\n
\n
\nLoad or unload materials.\n
\n
\nSet ladders, scaffolds, and hoists in place for taking supplies to roofs\n
\n
\nSet up flag lines and guardrail\n
\n
\nLay insulation and roofing membrane.\n
\n
\nGlue and prime.\n
\n
\nRoll Walls and Seams.\n
\n
\nNail off the roof edge.\n
\n
\nProperly install vapor and air barrier systems.\n
\n
\nWraps and finishes curbs, pipes, flues, scuppers, pitch pans, and all roof related details on EPDM and Thermoplastic roof systems.\n
\n
\nAbility to utilize induction welding to attach TPO or PVC roof systems\n
\n
\nPerform detail work such as corners, wraps, crickets, and boots.\n
\n
\nReinforced perimeter strip - pre details\n
\n
\nLaying out fastening patterns.\n
\n
\nCutting and installing tapered insulation systems and crickets.\n
\n
\nInstalling termination bar and counter flashings with sealants.\n
\n
\nInstalling drains and other drainage provisions.\n
\n
\nSetting rolls, cutting in curbs and pipes.\n
\n
\nLayout and install walkway pads/pavers.\n
\n
\nUnderstand the use of and operate rooftop equipment.\n
\n
\nManage job site inventory.\n
\n
\nPerform nightly seal-off duties.\n
\n
\nInspect and maintain equipment.\n
\n
\nManage crew and job site.\n
\n
\nManage project durations.\n
\n
\nThoroughly read shop drawings and blueprints.\n
\n
\nCommunicates with clients, vendors, and management as needed.\n
\n
\nAddress needed changes and communicate with management.\n
\n
\nCommunicate labor and material needs for change orders.\n
\n
\nCommunicate crew needs with management.\n
\n
\nSend required daily reports/videos.\n
\n
\nLeads and directs crew members on a daily basis.\n
\n
\nQuality control.\n
\n
\nTrain others.\n
\n
\nComplete career training when available.\n
\n
\nAssist with other day to day duties as requested.\n
\n
SAFETY:\n
\n
\nEnsure all job site personnel are following OSHA and company safety policies and guidelines.\n
\n
\nAct as a safety monitor\n
\n
\nEnsure pedestrians, client buildings, and equipment are safe and protected from construction activity.\n
\n
\nSignal cranes and forklifts.\n
\n
\nSet up ladders, scaffolds, and hoists.\n
\n
\nSet up flag lines and perimeter guard rail systems.\n
\n
\nMaintain flag lines, perimeter guard rails systems, and all fall protection safety measures.\n
\n
\nFollow all OSHA and company safety policies and guidelines .\n
\n
\nUtilize and maintain all PPE.\n
\n
