Physical Therapy Patient Service Specialist

Progressive Rehabilitation Associates in Iowa City, is looking for a full-time (40 hours per week) Patient Service Specialists to join our team.

As a Patient Service Specialist, you are the first connection to our patients and will be responsible for delivering a first-class customer experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Greeting patients to welcome them to our clinic
• Register/update patient information to our computer system
• Collect patient payments
• Answering phones to schedule appointments and answer patient questions
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain pre-authorization for care
• Our Patient Service Specialists also assist clinicians in their day-to-day work, allowing them to maximize their efficiency and to create an overall positive experience they will talk about to their family and friends.

Requirements:

• Good people skills/friendly personality, computer skills including scheduling/patient accounts software, ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks, good telephone manners/etiquette.
