About the Role\n

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Histotechnologist (Histotech) to join a high-volume hospital-based pathology laboratory. This role supports diagnostic services by preparing high-quality tissue specimens for microscopic examination.

Key Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • \n

    Prepare and process tissue specimens for routine and special histology procedures

    • \n
  • \n

    Perform embedding, microtomy, staining, and coverslipping

    • \n
  • \n

    Ensure proper fixation, processing, and handling of specimens

    • \n
  • \n

    Maintain quality control and ensure accuracy of all histology work

    • \n
  • \n

    Operate and maintain laboratory equipment

    • \n
  • \n

    Follow laboratory safety, compliance, and regulatory standards

    • \n
  • \n

    Document procedures and results accurately

    • \n
  • \n

    Collaborate with pathologists, lab staff, and clinical teams

    • \n
  • \n

    Maintain organized workflow to meet turnaround time expectations

    • \n

Qualifications\n
    \n
  • \n

    Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Histotechnology or related field

    • \n
  • \n

    HT or HTL certification (ASCP) preferred

    • \n
  • \n

    Prior experience in a clinical or hospital histology lab preferred

    • \n
  • \n

    Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity

    • \n
