Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN to become a part of our established, hospital-affiliated OB/GYN Associates team.

Compensation Packages

Option 1:
A base salary of $385,130, which aligns with the 50th percentile of MGMA for recent graduates, with additional compensation based on experience, guaranteed for two years. This can transition to a wRVU production contract once targets are surpassed.

Option 2:
A base salary of $477,340, reflecting the 75th percentile of MGMA, guaranteed for one year before moving to a wRVU production contract.

Note: A 5% reduction applies for those who are not yet board certified, with salary adjustments made upon certification.

Contract Details
  • Contract Duration: 2 years
  • Vacation: 29 days of paid time off (PTO), with an additional 5 days of PTO for achieving 75th percentile wRVUs.
  • CME/Books & Journals: 5 days of PTO and up to $5,000 for continuing medical education.
  • Deferred Compensation: 457b plan allowing deferral up to the IRS limit of $24,500 annually before taxes, with no matching contributions.
  • Retirement/Savings Plan: 403b plan permitting deferral up to the IRS limit of $24,500 annually for those under 50, and $31,000 for those over 50, with a dollar-for-dollar match up to 2% of base salary.
  • Relocation Assistance: $10,000 provided for moving expenses.
  • Malpractice Insurance: Coverage under a claims-made policy with limits of $2,000,000 per claim and $6,000,000 aggregate.
  • Health Insurance: A small premium is deducted from the paycheck.
  • Liquidated Damages: A non-compete clause of 70 miles for 2 years or liquidated damages equivalent to one year’s salary.
  • CERP (Pay for Call) Program: Details provided by the VP of Finance.
  • Bonus Opportunities: Potential bonuses up to 10% of salary.
  • Medical School Loan Repayment: Up to $200,000, with $25,000 per year for each year of service commitment.
  • Residency Stipend: Up to $25,000, contingent on a 2-year service commitment.
  • Sign-On Bonus: 15% of base salary, up to $100,000, payable upon contract signing and forgiven over 2-4 years.
Practice Information

Location: OB/GYN Associates, Waller Building, Suite 202, Portsmouth, OH 45662

Office Hours: Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

Call Schedule: Manage your own patients throughout the week until 5:00 PM, with a weekend and holiday call rotation of 1:5, including circumcision procedures in the nursery. Additional compensation is available through the CERP program.

Patient Load

On average, providers see:

  • 25 patients per day
  • 4-6 hospital procedures daily
Procedures and Equipment

Office Procedures: Colposcopy, IUD insertion and removal, biopsies.
Hospital Procedures: Diagnostic laparoscopy, hysterectomy, D&C, ablations, tubal ligations, cesarean sections.
Equipment: Intuitive DaVinci Robot 5.

Practice Expectations

We are looking for a collaborative team member who is eager to work in a high-volume clinic. Our advanced practitioners also support our locations in Waverly and West Union.
