Maternal Fetal Medicine Opportunity Huntsville, AL

Our organization is seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine physician to become part of a well-established and comprehensive MFM program. This role will primarily involve a consultative practice, which includes first trimester screenings, detailed fetal sonography, echocardiography, chorionic villus sampling (CVS), amniocentesis, and percutaneous umbilical blood sampling (PUBS). The position also features an active pre-term birth prevention initiative and high-volume co-management of maternal diabetes and other medical conditions. You will be supported by an exceptional team of staff. Our facility is a dedicated institution focused on providing care for women, infants, children, and adolescents. We offer the most comprehensive and experienced maternal and child health programs in the region, having been established in 2002. We handle an average of 5,000 births annually and approximately 16,000 admissions each year. Our facility is unique in the region, featuring a Level 3 NICU, two pediatric surgeons, a 16-bed Pediatric Emergency Room, and a 40-bed Pediatric Inpatient unit that caters to patients from infancy to 18 years old. Additionally, we are one of six affiliate clinics of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital specializing in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, serving a draw area of over one million people.
