Quick Facts Location: Brattleboro, VT (17 Belmont Avenue) Start Date: 05/29/2026 End Date/Duration: Ongoing/Part-Time Shift: Flexible (approx. 24 hours/week) Hours per Week: 24 Employment Type: Part-Time License/Certs: Medical license in VT (or ability to obtain) Experience: Prior oncology experience preferred Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (competitive salary package discussed upon application) Pay & Benefits Pay package: Competitive salary of $250,000 - $350,000 annually, based on experience Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements where applicable Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws Opportunities for professional growth, academic involvement, and leadership What You’ll Do Diagnose, stage, and develop personalized treatment plans for various cancers Manage chemotherapy, radiation, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly Manage side effects and provide supportive care to improve quality of life Educate patients and families about diagnoses and treatment options Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, radiologists, nurses, and navigators Participate in clinical trials and quality improvement initiatives Stay current with advances in oncology guidelines and practices Mentor other healthcare professionals within the department What You Need Required: Medical license in Vermont or eligibility to obtain Prior oncology experience (preferred but not mandatory) Strong clinical assessment and communication skills Preferred: Experience in outpatient oncology care Ability to work independently in a rural outpatient setting About the Assignment A leading facility in Brattleboro, VT, is seeking an experienced Oncology Physician to join their supportive, multidisciplinary team.
