Job Description
The purpose of this position is to provide high-quality, patient-centered perioperative care by assisting surgeons, registered nurses, and other members of the surgical team during operative procedures. The Surgical Technician/Surgical Technologist (CST) is responsible for preparing the operating room, maintaining a sterile field, anticipating the needs of the surgical team, handling surgical instruments and supplies, and ensuring patient safety throughout the surgical procedure. The overall goal of the position is to promote positive surgical outcomes, prevent infection, and support the efficient delivery of safe, high-quality surgical care.
