We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Neurohospitalist to join our inpatient Neurology service in Albuquerque. This role offers balance, collaboration, and the opportunity to contribute to a program that is committed to improving the health of New Mexicans.

  • 1,820 annual hours with a consistent 7 on and 7 off schedule
  • \n
  • Guaranteed salary
  • \n
  • No nights. Night coverage provided through an established telemedicine partner
  • \n
  • Consult only service. Hospitalists complete admissions and discharges
  • \n
  • Advanced Practice Clinician support
  • \n
  • System wide Epic EMR
  • \n
  • Relocation assistance, CME allowance, and fully paid malpractice coverage
  • \n

What You Will Do

\n
    \n
  • Provide inpatient neurology consultations and exercise independent medical judgment
  • \n
  • Review and interpret MRI and CT imaging
  • \n
  • Read EEGs if experienced or interested
  • \n
  • Collaborate with hospitalists, APCs, and Neurology colleagues
  • \n
  • Participate in system level efforts that enhance quality, performance, and patient experience
  • \n
  • Contribute to a culture grounded in compassion, teamwork, and continuous improvement
  • \n

What You Bring

  • MD or DO
  • \n
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurology
  • \n
  • Ability to independently interpret MRI and CT imaging
  • \n
  • Eligibility for a New Mexico medical license
  • \n
