Aspirus Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Palliative System Medical Director.

\n

Lead the planning, organization, and direction of the Palliative Medicine Program by bringing a collaborative, innovative approach to program administration, quality improvement, networking, and community engagement.

OPPORTUNITY OVERVIEW:

  • Split time between clinical work and administrative responsibilities focused on program development

  • Hospice call coverage 1:6 (call only), No palliative care call responsibilities
  • \n
  • Palliative fellowship and experience in Palliative Care/Hospice required
  • \n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as a liaison between Administration and the Medical Staff, ensuring smooth communication and alignment
  • \n
  • Oversee performance measurement, quality improvement initiatives, regulatory compliance, and referral management
  • \n
  • Drive strategic program growth and development as the program expands its reach
  • \n
  • Take on a leadership role within a clinically active and well-supported Palliative Medicine Program
  • \n
  • Collaborate with visionary leadership and an expert multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional care across Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota
  • \n
