Practice Details:
\n- \n
- Join a well-run, value-based, longitudinal care practice with Medicare Advantage panel management, providing high-quality, coordinated care \n
- Working alongside 1 Internal Medicine Physician partner, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 4 Medical Assistants, an Office Manager, and others\n
- \n
- Support staff function at the top of their training, assisting with in-basket management, refills, prior auths, and care coordination \n
\n - Care Management resources available, extending care outside of the clinic \n
- Choose either an outpatient-only model or a traditional clinic-plus-inpatient model that utilizes hospitalists \n
- Monday-Friday: No Nights, Weekends, or Holidays \n
- Clinic hours:\n
- \n
- Monday - Thursday 8:20a to 4:45p \n
- Friday 8:20a to 12:00p \n
\n - Initial Schedule: 4.5 days patient care with .5 days set aside for administrative work \n
- Call: Phone only, shared with Nurse Practitioners and another Esse Health clinic\n
- \n
- 1:4 weekends, call is triaged first \n
- 1:5 weeknights, low to no calls typically \n
\n - Volume: Gradual onboarding ramp-up to build confidence with the EMR, patient care, flow, and coding\n
- \n
- Target at least 18 patients/day as comfort and efficiency increase for financial success \n
\n - Opportunity to incorporate sub-specialty care and mentor medical students and residents if desired \n
- Flexibility to focus on clinical areas of interest (e.g., ADHD, mental health, womens health, LGBTQ+ care, and more) \n
- Lean Clinical Practice Model: Streamlines patient care, standardizing workflows, optimizing team roles, and using data-driven continuous improvement to reduce wait times, lower costs, and improve quality \n
- NextGen EMR \n
- AI scribe technology and Dragon dictation available \n

- No cap on earning potential: Physicians are earning $350K-$750K on average \n
\n - 4 weeks paid time off, with even more flexibility as a shareholder \n
- 9 paid holidays and 5 paid days for CME \n
- Profit sharing based on total years in practice \n

- 7% for 0-9 years, 11% for 10+ years \n

Requirements:

- MD or DO \n
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible with plans to certify (AB or AOA) \n
- Illinois licensed or eligible to obtain licensure in Illinois \n
