In this role, you will:\n
\n - Ensure efficient exam room workflow, running rooms independently and anticipating the needs of the veterinary team throughout the day
\n - Provide safe, gentle patient handling and restraint during exams, treatments, and procedures
\n - Support client education by clearly explaining treatment plans, discharge instructions, and home care recommendations with empathy and confidence
\n - Collaborate with the veterinary team to support outpatient care and procedures, ensuring the highest standard of patient care
\n - Assist the surgery team as needed with patient prep, setup, and recovery
\n - Collect laboratory samples and support in-house diagnostics
\n - Maintain accurate medical records and keep exam rooms clean, organized, and fully prepared between appointments

This position is ideal for a dependable, team-oriented assistant who excels in client engagement and exam room management while delivering compassionate, high-quality care. Schedule: This is a full-time position with a flexible schedule, Monday-Friday, and usually one Saturday shift per month. Full-time benefits and compensation:\n

Minimum qualifications and skill set:\n
\n - 1+ years of veterinary assistant, animal care, or related clinical experience required
\n - Fear Free certification preferred; willingness to pursue certification required
\n - Proficiency in the following skills:\n
\n - Client communication and education
\n - Safe, gentle patient handling and restraint for dogs and cats of varying sizes and temperaments
\n - Laboratory sample collection and in-house diagnostics
\n - Exam room management and outpatient workflow support
\n - Accurate medical record keeping and treatment documentation
\n - Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
\n - Surgical assistance support as needed
