\n Key Responsibilities:\n
\n
    \n
  • Read and interpret aerospace manufacturing drawings, including tolerances, customer specifications, and technical requirements.
  • \n
  • Inspect products using manual precision tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, profilometers, bore gauges, etc.) to verify compliance with engineering drawings, specs, and orders.
  • \n
  • Document inspection results—accept/reject decisions, required rejection paperwork, and necessary MRP system updates.
  • \n
  • Perform specialized testing, including Rockwell hardness testing and Eddy Current testing, to determine product acceptance.
  • \n
  • Review and verify outside processing certifications (NDT, chemical processing, finishes) and ensure final product appearance meets engineering specifications.

\n Requirements:\n
\n
    \n
  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on inspection experience in a regulated industry, including 2 recent years in aerospace.
  • \n
  • Proficient in engineering drawings and GD&T, demonstrated by passing advanced drawings and fluent-level GD&T tests.
  • \n
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional trade school or college coursework in blueprint reading or GD&T preferred.
