Our organization, a leading OBGYN group in North Florida, is on the lookout for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB-GYN Hospitalist (Nocturnist) to join our esteemed team. This role presents a fantastic opportunity for physicians who thrive in the dynamic and independent atmosphere of overnight inpatient care, all within a supportive and collaborative setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overnight care for private practice patients in labor & delivery, antepartum, postpartum, and manage unassigned GYN emergencies
  • Oversee labor, deliveries, admissions, inpatient consultations, and emergency GYN procedures
  • Work collaboratively with private practice physicians, hospital midwives, and nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care
  • Engage in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives (limited involvement)

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology
  • Eligibility for a Florida medical license
  • Previous experience as a hospitalist or nocturnist is preferred but not mandatory
