Were seeking a passionate and driven Internal Medicine Physician to join our Primary Care - East Paris team located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the health of our community while working in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

• Position Type: Full-time (1.0 FTE)

• Office hours: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm

• Location: 2144 E. Paris Ave SE Grand Rapids, MI 49546

• Specialty: Internal Medicine, out-patient

• Hospital Info: Trinity Health Grand Rapids

• Clinical Team Size: Currently have 6 physicians, 2 nurse practitioners
\n
• Teaching Opportunities: Yes - Residents, Medical Students, Fellows
\n
• Call Requirements:3 days a month - phone calls only, supported by 24/7 nurse triage.

  • Option between 4- and 5-day work week

  • Physician will have 1 to 1 support with a Medical Assistant

Requirements

\n
• Experience preferred, open to new graduates
\n
• Board certified in their respective clinical specialty or must achieve board certification within the timeframe defined by the applicable specialty board.
\n
• Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain)
\n
• DEA license
\n

Duties & Responsibilities

A typical day may include:

• Providing direct patient care
\n
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams

• Participating in teaching and mentoring
\n
• Documenting in Epic EMR
\n
• Engaging in quality improvement initiatives

• Supporting community health efforts
