Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic illnesses, emphasizing preventive care. Conduct patient assessments, including histories, exams, and diagnostics. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clinical guidelines. Counsel patients and families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and wellness strategies. Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams and community resources. Document medical encounters accurately within the electronic medical record (EMR). Support quality improvement initiatives and adhere to healthcare regulations. Engage in continuing education to stay current with medical advancements.
