Quick Facts Location: 8260 Atlee Road, Mechanicsville, VA 23116 Start Date: 06/09/2026 End Date: Ongoing Shift: Mon – Fri, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (No weekends, no call) Hours/Week: 40 Employment Type: Locum License/Certs: VA Medical License/Board Certification in Hematology/Oncology preferred Experience: 2+ years in Hematology and Oncology Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $19.50/hour Benefits: Competitive pay package Weekly pay via direct deposit Medical benefits (W-2) Paid sick time per applicable laws Reimbursements for travel, licensure, and certification Robust referral bonus program 24/7 dedicated support team What You’ll Do Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology patient care in inpatient and outpatient settings Manage adult and geriatric patients with cancer diagnoses Collaborate with hospital staff and operate independently as the sole physician in practice Utilize Epic EMR for documentation Conduct patient consultations, follow-ups, and rounding Ensure compliance with facility protocols and quality standards Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and treatment planning What You Need Valid Virginia Medical License Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Oncology At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team About the Assignment Join a leading facility in Mechanicsville, VA, dedicated to providing excellent cancer care.
