Locums - Neurosurgery NP/PA opportunity in central Pennsylvania

Locums - A well respected hospital system is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to assist with Neurosurgery coverage in central Pennsylvania.

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
\n
• Start ASAP for ongoing need
\n
• 4x 10-hour shifts per week; weekend rotation required
\n
• Day shift 6:30a-4:30p
\n
• Inpatient setting with OR and clinic rotation
\n
• Duties include rounding, surgical site checks, drains, ICP monitors, ICU notes, and surgical assisting (if comfortable)
\n
• Must be comfortable with stroke, ICH, aneurysm, brain tumor, and spine patients
\n
• Surgical cases include laminectomy, fusion, craniotomy, thrombectomy, burr holes
\n
• 100% adult patient population
\n
• EMR EPIC Bridges
\n
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required
\n
• Active PA license, BLS, recent case logs required
\n
