Experienced CNC Machinist & Programmer

Machinist with a diverse background in manufacturing. Someone able to change and adapt to an ever evolving manufacturing environment, with-in a small fast-paced family owned organization. This position requires familiarity with CNC set up, programming and operation of machines using G codes and canned cycles to produce high quality machined parts.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Programming, Set-up of and operation of Mazak milling machines. (Mazak or Okuma lathe experience is a plus.)
\n
• Extensive programming experience in Mazatrol and/or Mastercam required.
\n
• Must be able read and understand blueprints and take knowledge to produce quality tight tolerance parts as required.
\n
• Must be able to read calipers, micrometers and other inspection equipment.
\n
• Understanding of speeds and feeds.
\n
• Having good written and verbal communication skills.
\n
• Being self-motivated.
\n

Physical Demands and Work Environment

\n
• Physical demands: While performing duties of the job, employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time. Employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
\n
• Work Environment: Must be able to work in shop environment: i.e. heat & cold, dust and noise.
\n
• Overtime is required on a regular basis.
\n
• Pay is negotiable based on experience and production capability.
