Position Overview

The Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at our organization is on the lookout for a qualified individual to fill a faculty role at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor (non-tenure, clinical track) with specialized training in Rhinology. This position is based in Baton Rouge, LA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Engage in the education of residents and medical students.
  • Pursue clinical research initiatives.
  • Collaborate on extensive research projects with colleagues.

Our faculty members benefit from flexible cross-coverage for weekend and holiday on-call duties, along with access to subspecialty support in areas such as otology, laryngology, head and neck oncology, pediatric otolaryngology, and plastic/reconstructive surgery.

Compensation

The salary and academic rank will be determined based on the candidate's expertise, education, and experience.

Minimum QualificationsRequired Education
  • MD or an equivalent degree.
Additional Education
  • Completion of a fellowship in Rhinology.
Certifications and Licenses
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible (or equivalent) in Otolaryngology.
  • Possession of a valid medical license to practice in Louisiana prior to the start date.
