Media Specialist

Pay Range: $18/hr. - $20/hr. Day to Day: Perform File QC’s using various playback programs and nonlinear editing systems View media and identify any defects (digital hits, macro blocking, interlacing, etc...), continuity or incomplete content found during testing. Listen to media and identify any audio dropouts, pops, distortions, etc... Check artwork and metadata to ensure technical correctness/ meets client’s standards Communicate any issues to the proper parties and oversee corrections for on-time delivery Create and upload thumbnails and other simple artwork Follow a fast schedule and be flexible to changes in priorities Requirements: 2+ years of QA/QC experience in a professional setting Ability to read JSON files/feeds/searches Exposure to ticketing within Kanban/JIRA Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to deliver clear and concise direction Creative and critical thinking and problem-solving skills Proactive and a solutions-oriented team player Ability to identify probable causes of issues of metadata, artwork, or video imperfections in our pipeline The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually – as applicable.
