RWJBH is seeking a full-time night Advanced Practice Provider for our Surgical/ Trauma ICU at the New Brunswick Campus.

Qualifications:

\n
    \n
  • Graduate of an Acute Care NP program or graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • \n
  • Skills with procedures such as central line placement, arterial line placement and chest tube placement are preferable
  • \n
  • 2-6 years of surgical critical care/ Trauma experience preferred
  • \n
  • Experience with POCUS and ultrasound placement of lines is also preferred
  • \n
  • Must be able to work autonomously and be willing to provide support to surgical residency program
  • \n
  • Will consider graduates of critical care APP fellowships or residency who can demonstrate proficiency in procedures
  • \n
\n

Essential Functions:

  • Candidate should possess effective time management and critical care skills
  • \n
  • Must be able to adapt and adjust to a large volume acute patient population
  • \n
  • This is a night time role only and works in collaboration with the acute care surgical residency to provide high level care for post trauma and surgical patients
  • \n
