Location: Deaconess Hospital (Gateway, Midtown, Henderson)
\n
\n - There are a total of 53+ employed Hospitalists in the group
\n - Program was started approximately 23 years ago
\n - Shifts are 12 hours in length
\n - Shift available (8a 8p)
\n - 180 shifts/year (full-time), 15 shifts per month, with flexible scheduling
\n - Average # of admissions:\n
\n - Gateway: 14-16 patients each, plus cross-coverage/codes after 8pm and Round Robin admissions from 8am-4pm
\n - Midtown: 16-18 patients each, plus cross-coverage/codes after 8pm
\n - Henderson: 10-14 patients each, plus cross-coverage/codes after 7pm and round robin admissions from 7am-3pm
\n - Two Nocturnists per night at Midtown and Gateway; 8p-8a
\n - One Nocturnists per night at Henderson; 7p-7a
\n
\n - Referral base includes ED visits, direct admissions, and regional transfers
\n - Robust subspecialty support
\n - Procedures not required
