\n Merit Health Natchez is seeking a Hospitalist Physician to join our inpatient medicine team in either a full-time or PRN capacity. This opportunity includes a clear leadership track with potential progression toward Medical Directorship, offering both clinical practice and professional growth within a supportive hospital environment. \n

Position Highlights\n

  • Compensation: $160/hour (approximately $26,880+ per block)
    • \n
  • Schedule: 7-on / 7-off
    • \n
  • Shift Type: 100% daytime shifts
    • \n
  • Volume: ~168 hours/month
    • \n
  • Leadership track opportunity toward Medical Director role
    • \n
  • Flexible FT or PRN structure
    • \n
  • Open ICU
    • \n
  • Procedures required
    • \n

Qualifications\n
    \n
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
    • \n
  • Comfortable doing procedures
    • \n
  • Current Mississippi medical license or eligibility for licensure
    • \n
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
    • \n
  • Interest in leadership development preferred
    • \n
  • Ability to work effectively in a structured inpatient environment
    • \n
