Obstetrician Gynecologist Laborist
Job Description
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is looking for a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible OBGYN Laborist to join our team at the hospital dedicated to women's and newborn health. This role will be appointed as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Key Responsibilities- Provide in-house obstetrical physician coverage and oversee clinical care for patients in the labor and delivery unit.
- Supervise and manage care for antepartum and postpartum patients.
- Oversee gynecologic consultations, including those that may require surgical intervention.
- Act as the Attending Physician for Physician Assistants.
- Engage in continuing medical education and contribute to departmental quality improvement initiatives.
The salary for this position is competitive and based on qualifications and experience, with a base salary range starting at $325,000. This package includes excellent benefits, relocation assistance, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications- A medical degree is required.
- Completion of a 4-year ACGME-accredited residency in obstetrics and gynecology.
- Board eligibility or certification in obstetrics and gynecology is necessary.
- A valid New York State Medical License must be obtained or already held.
- A strong commitment to excellence in patient care and teaching is essential.
