Quick Facts Location: Mansfield, OH (335 Glessner Avenue, 44903) Start Date: 06/13/2026 Duration: Ongoing / As scheduled Shift: 24-hour in-house shifts (OB and GYN emergencies) Hours/Week: Variable (based on coverage needs) Employment Type: Per Diem Licenses/Certifications: Board-certified OB/GYN (MD or DO) required Experience: Prior OB/GYN or hospitalist experience preferred Pay & Benefits Hourly Rate: $230.10/hour Pay Package: Competitive pay, weekly pay via direct deposit, orientation hours at 50% of standard rate, holiday differential, paid sick time, licensing/certification reimbursements, and travel reimbursements where applicable Benefits: Medical benefits (W-2), robust referral bonuses, 24/7 support team, additional reimbursements as applicable What You’ll Do Cover OB triage, admissions, inpatient care, and deliveries Manage obstetric and gynecological emergencies in a hospital setting Collaborate with community OBs and multidisciplinary teams Provide real-time communication regarding triage, issues, and deliveries Participate in multidisciplinary OB critical care and trauma evaluations for pregnant patients Coordinate follow-up care for obstetric patients throughout shifts What You Need Valid Ohio medical license and board certification in OB/GYN Prior hospital-based OB/GYN experience preferred Ability to work flexible 24-hour shifts and handle obstetric emergencies Strong communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This position is based at OhioHealth Mansfield Hospital, a well-equipped facility dedicated to women's health.
