Job Description: Position Summary: The Procurement/Parts Crib Admin. supports die build and parts crib operations by coordinating parts ordering, receiving, shipping, inventory control, and vendor communication. This role helps ensure parts are accurately identified, documented, stored, and delivered to support production schedules and timely die build completion. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Monitor daily E-Mails & Teams chats about changes affecting NAMCs and communicate required actions. Maintain 4S+S standards and keep the crib area organized, clean, and efficient. Review bulk item, shortage, and damaged-part requests. Verify crib inventory before ordering and support parts quoting activities. Gather costing, lead-time, and comparison data to support ordering and vendor selection. Use ProLeis MES, SAP Ariba, Microsoft 365, and related systems to process orders, receive parts, and track activities. Review Catia, XVL, and design PDFs to verify changes and identify issues. Send parts lists to vendors for quoting and support yearly quote activities. Receive parts by matching packing slips to quoted parts lists, die numbers, quantities, and descriptions. Prepare, organize, and route parts carts, shipping materials, paperwork, and labels. Unload trucks, crates, fixtures, and parts using forklifts and mobile ramps. Maintain paper records, parts trees, and partial-order documentation. Coordinate with vendors and internal partners to resolve issues with damaged, missing, incorrect, expedited, or modified parts. Requirements: Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. 4 + years experience in shipping/receiving, inventory control, parts crib operations, or manufacturing support preferred. 3 + years experience collaborating with vendors and/or suppliers. Ability to read parts lists, packing slips, and basic technical documentation. Strong organizational, communication, and follow-up skills. Basic computer skills and ability to learn manufacturing systems quickly. Willingness to work overtime as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience with enterprise level Manufacturing Execution Systems and SAP Ariba systems. Efficient computer skills with Microsoft 365. Experience reviewing CAD or Catia models and technical drawings. Prior experience in die build, tooling, or manufacturing support. Familiarity with vendor quoting, inventory control, and parts logistics. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift parts and boxes over 35 lbs. Must be able to operate forklifts, easy go vehicles, banders, and related material-handling equipment. Must be able to unload trucks, crates, and pallets. Must be able to work through breaks and lunches as needed to meet operational needs. Driver’s license is mandatory for this role. Work Environment This position works in a manufacturing and parts crib environment with regular interaction across operations, shipping/receiving, vendors, and management.
