\nThe Machine Shop Supervisor plays a key role in leading production teams, maintaining workflow efficiency, supporting quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within a high-precision medical manufacturing environment.
\nThis is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands CNC machining, production flow, and how to build strong manufacturing teams.

\nThe Work You’ll Be Doing
\nIn this role, you will:
\n- \n
- Supervise machining department personnel and 2–4 Team Leads \n
- Coordinate production schedules, priorities, and workflow \n
- Support daily machining operations to ensure quality and on-time delivery \n
- Lead hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management activities \n
- Monitor department KPIs and implement corrective actions when needed \n
- Support MRB processes and daily production reviews \n
- Troubleshoot downtime and escalate technical issues as required \n
- Lead Kaizen events and Lean manufacturing initiatives \n
- Develop and maintain standard work procedures \n
- Ensure compliance with ISO, FDA, and quality system requirements \n
- Promote a strong safety culture and enforce PPE/safety standards \n
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements \n

- Hands-on mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability \n
- Strong communication and organizational skills \n
