Locum Tenens General Dentist – FQHC | Millinocket, ME

Position: Full-Time Locum Tenens General Dentist (4x10 Schedule)
Start Date: As soon as credentialed (approximately 1 month)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
Call: None
Patient Volume: 12–16 patients per day

Interested but don't have a Maine license? My client WILL WAIT FOR A LICENSE. My company will pay and help you get licensed!

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive oral health evaluations and diagnosis of dental conditions
\n
• Composite and restorative fillings
\n
• Simple and surgical extractions
\n
• Root canal therapy (endodontics)
\n
• Crown and bridge procedures
\n
• Preventive dental care, including patient education and oral hygiene counseling
\n
• Administration of local anesthesia and nitrous oxide when appropriate
\n
• Accurate documentation and maintenance of complete dental records
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
\n
• Active Maine Dental License (or ability to obtain)
\n
• Active DEA registration (if required)
\n
• Experience providing comprehensive general dentistry
\n
• Strong clinical and communication skills
\n
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the dental team
