Job Opportunity: Academic General OB/GYN Faculty Member

Our organization is seeking an academic general OB/GYN faculty member. Candidates have the option to choose between a hospitalist role, which involves 15 shifts of 10 to 12 hours each month, or an outpatient-only position. Depending on the selected role, duties will encompass:

  • Providing patient care at the primary teaching hospital.
  • Teaching and supervising medical students and residents.
  • Consulting with patients at one of our outpatient facilities.
  • Engaging in research and quality improvement initiatives aligned with professional training, skills, and career aspirations.

Compensation and academic rank will be determined based on qualifications. There are also opportunities for administrative and leadership roles.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Completion of an ACGME/AOA accredited OB/GYN residency program.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
  • Possession of a California Medical License or eligibility to obtain one.
Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in bilingual communication, especially in Spanish and Hmong, is highly desirable.

  • Contributing to patient care, teaching, and supervision at UCSF Fresno and Inspire Health.
  • Participating in research activities relevant to professional training and career goals.
