Job Overview:
\nThe Neonatal Physician Assistant provides health care to neonates, infants and children up to one year of age. The PA provides care for critically ill premature and full-term infants with emphasis place on family centered culturally diverse sensitive care. In collaboration with the Neonatologist, the PA has daily responsibility for the assessment and management of patients in high and low acuity.
\nThe Physician Assistant practices in collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team to provide a continuum of primary, acute and or subspecialty healthcare to their patients.
\nThey enhance the quality of care through education and clinical practice utilizing advanced practice, knowledge and research.

\nPay Range: $120,000.00 - $190,000.00 per year
\nThe above reflects the anticipated annual salary range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey.

36 hrs (12hr shifts: day/night/weekends/holidays)

Essential Functions:
\n- \n

Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients.
\n - \n
Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions in collaboration with a physician.
\n - \n
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
\n - \n
Perform procedures as necessary.
\n - \n
Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
\n - \n
Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding treatment plans and health education.
\n - \n
Stay current with medical best practices, guidelines, and regulations.
\n - \n
Engage in continuing education and professional development activities.
\n - \n
Participate in research or quality improvement projects as directed or needed.
