RN - Hospice
\nFull Time

\n\nMinimum Qualifications:
Education:
\n • Graduation from an approved school of nursing.
\n Licensure:
\n • Current licensure by the State Board of Nursing in the applicable state of practice.
\n • Must be a licensed driver.
\n Certification(s):
\n • CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience:
\n • Recent hospice or long-term care experience
\n • Experience with issues related to death/dying and bereavement.
\n • One-year general nursing experience preferred.
\n Skills, Knowledge, Abilities:
\n • Complies with accepted professional standards and practice.
\n • Understands Hospice philosophy; principles related to death and dying and pain management.
\n • Has excellent observation, good nursing assessment and communication skills.
\n • Excellent computer skills with the ability to provide good documentation within an electronic medical record and submits in a timely manner.
\n • Is self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
\n • Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation and has ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.
Physical Requirements:
\n • Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
\n • Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift.
\n • Position requires the ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties.
