Our organization is in search of a committed RN to join their team and deliver outstanding care within the Family Birthing Center.
In your role as a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery, you will be essential in safeguarding the health and well-being of both mother and child. Your responsibilities will include managing patient care, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and offering support and education to patients and their families.
- Conduct thorough assessments and gather data focusing on physiological, psychosocial, and cognitive aspects
- Implement and follow care plans and protocols
- Recognize and address patient educational needs, providing necessary information
- Accurately document patient care in electronic medical records
- Effectively delegate and oversee patient care tasks
- Serve as Charge Nurse when needed, overseeing patient assignments and coordinating staff coverage
- Engage in professional development through continuous education and training
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and organizational policies
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant setting
- Current RN Licensure in Washington State
- HCP Level of BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
- Advanced certifications such as AAP NRP, ACLS, and AWHONN’s Intermediate Fetal Monitoring preferred or required
