Family Medicine w/ OB Opportunity - Fruitland, ID (Fruitland Health Plaza)

Our organization is currently looking for a Family Medicine Physician who is dedicated to a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach to patient care. This position is based in a rural family practice environment in Fruitland, Idaho, and includes obstetrics responsibilities.

The Fruitland Health Plaza is a multi-specialty facility that caters to the healthcare needs of Southwest Idaho and Southeast Oregon. The services provided at this location encompass family medicine, urgent care, occupational health, and orthopedic care. Additionally, we offer on-site laboratory, x-ray, and CT services. Obstetrics is a requirement for this role, with deliveries occurring at our regional medical center in Ontario, just a short 10-minute drive from Fruitland. There is also the opportunity to work in the newborn nursery and with inpatient pediatrics, if desired. Due to the rural setting of this position, physicians are eligible for state loan repayment benefits.

This full-time role features a traditional work schedule from Monday to Friday, ensuring at least 32 hours of patient contact time, including obstetrics. General call is set at 1:6, with specific OB hospital call details to be determined.

• Provide comprehensive family medicine care, including obstetrics.
• Engage in a collaborative approach with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Participate in on-call duties as required.

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree.
• Completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA Family Medicine residency program.
• Board certification, or the ability to obtain certification within three years of employment.
• Possess a valid Idaho medical license to practice in all areas.
• Hold a current controlled substance registration with the Idaho Boards of Pharmacy and DEA.
