Central Maine Healthcare is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Primary Care Physician to join its growing network of primary care providers serving the Lewiston-Auburn region. This position offers the opportunity to practice patient-centered medicine within an integrated healthcare system that includes a flagship 250-bed medical center, specialty services, and a large network of physicians and advanced practice providers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive preventive, acute, and chronic disease management
  • \n
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions
  • \n
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate patient care
  • \n
  • Promote wellness and preventive health initiatives
  • \n
  • Collaborate with specialists, nursing staff, and care management teams
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
  • \n
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
  • \n
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
  • \n
  • Eligible for Maine medical licensure
  • \n
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
  • \n
  • Commitment to patient-centered, high-quality care
