\nWere seeking a passionate and driven Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our Michigan Heart Cardiology team in Ann Arbor and Brighton, Michigan. - Position Type:Full-Time (1.0 FTE) \n
- Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week (7:00 AM 5:30 PM) \n
- Location: Ann Arbor and Brighton, Michigan \n
- Specialty: Cardiology \n
- Hospital Info: 560 beds, Level 1 Trauma Center \n
- Team Size: Collaborative team of 30 Cardiologists and 15 APPs \n
- Teaching Opportunities: Opportunities to support student shadowing experiences and provide mentorship for individuals pursuing Advanced Practice degrees \n
- Call Requirements: No afternoon or overnight call responsibilities; rotating Saturday call coverage (8:00 AM 5:00 PM) \n

Requirements
\n- \n
- Cardiology experience required \n
- 2+ years of post-graduate direct cardiology experience strongly preferred \n
- NP Candidates must be AGACNP or ACNP \n
- Must be board certified prior to employment \n
- Active Michigan medical license (or ability to obtain) \n
- DEA license \n
- BLS and ACLS certified/maintained \n
Duties & Responsibilities
\nA typical day may include:

- Providing direct patient care \n
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams \n
- Participating in teaching and mentoring \n
- Documenting in Epic EMR \n
- Engaging in quality improvement initiatives \n
- Supporting community health efforts. \n
