\nAs a Business Development Representative, your primary focus will be on identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships, and promoting the company's services within the industrial construction industry. You will work closely with the Division Director of Industrial Services and other internal teams to achieve ambitious growth targets and strategic goals. This individual should be a technical expert in the industrial field, with a strong knowledge of industrial facilities and equipment. This position will require travel.
\nKey Responsibilities

- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, owners, general contractors, industry partners, and government agencies. \n
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned strategic accounts throughout the project lifecycle to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business. \n
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, lead generation, and market research. \n
- Lead the development of proposals, bids, and presentations in collaboration with internal \n
- Negotiate contracts and support execution while ensuring alignment with company objectives and risk guidelines. \n
- Conduct facility tours and site visits to evaluate potential scopes of work from a technical \n
- Communicate technical findings and business opportunities clearly to internal stakeholders for review and decision-making. \n
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline information using the company’s CRM \n
- Track client interactions, opportunities, and business development activities to ensure data integrity and reporting accuracy. \n
- Collaborate with operations, finance, legal, and project management teams to support successful project handoff and execution. \n
- Partner with marketing and communications teams to support the development of sales collateral and marketing materials. \n
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure a smooth transition from contract award to project delivery. \n
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to expand market presence. \n
Required Qualifications

- Strong technical background in industrial facilities & \n
- Strong knowledge of the industrial construction market, including key players, market trends, and competitive landscape. \n
- Proven track record of success in project management, facilities management, business development, sales, or related roles within the industrial construction industry. \n

- Strategic mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving \n
- Proficiency in relevant software and CRM systems, Salesforce \n
- Proficient in M365, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, \n

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

- Strong knowledge of industrial facilities, equipment, and construction markets, with the ability to evaluate technical scopes of work. \n
- Proven skills in business development, client relationship management, and contract negotiation within an industrial or construction environment. \n
- Excellent communication, presentation, and proposal development skills for engaging clients and internal stakeholders. \n
- Ability to analyze opportunities, manage sales pipelines, and maintain accurate CRM data (Salesforce preferred). \n
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, collaborate cross-functionally, travel as required, and deliver high-quality customer service. \n
Physical & Travel Requirements
