\nAbout This Opportunity
\nDavinWorks Inc is hiring qualified electrical workers for a commercial project in Michigan City, Indiana. We are looking for reliable, safety-minded candidates with commercial or industrial electrical experience who are ready to work consistent hours on a fast-paced project.
\nRole Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Install, terminate, and test commercial electrical systems including conduit, wire, panels, and devices \n
- Read and work from blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications \n
- Perform rough-in and finish electrical work on commercial construction projects \n
- Coordinate with foreman, GC, and other trades on daily scope and production targets \n
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with OSHA and site safety plans \n
- Apprentices will work under the direction of a Journeyman Electrician and perform tasks consistent with their experience level \n

\nPer Diem
\n$150.00 per day worked for eligible employees deployed away from their home area, to cover lodging, meals, and incidentals, paid in accordance with company per diem policy
\nOvertime
\n1.5x the regular rate of pay for all hours worked over 40 per workweek; scheduled overtime is a requirement of this position (58+ hours per week expected)
\nFinal rates confirmed in writing based on verified classification, experience, project fit, and compliance approval.
\nRequirements

- Must be at least 18 years of age \n
- Must hold a valid electrician license as required by the Michigan City / LaPorte County licensing authority for the work performed, or be eligible to obtain the required local license within the timeframe required by the licensing authority \n
- Apprentices must be enrolled in a registered electrical apprenticeship program, provide proof of enrollment, and work under the supervision of a licensed Journeyman Electrician \n
- Minimum 4 years of commercial electrical experience for Journeyman; minimum 5 years for Lead Journeyman/Foreman roles \n
- OSHA 10 certification required (minimum); OSHA 30 preferred \n
- Ability to provide license or apprenticeship documentation for verification \n
- Commercial or industrial electrical experience required \n
- Must be available for scheduled overtime (58+ hrs/week expected) \n
- Reliable transportation and basic electrical tools \n
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the role, including lifting up to 50 lbs, working at heights, and climbing ladders, with or without reasonable accommodation \n
- Employment is contingent on successful completion of a background check and drug screen, conducted in accordance with applicable law, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act \n
- Safety-minded, dependable, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment \n
