Urgent Care Observation Unit NP/PA opportunity available in San Antonio, TX

Great opportunity available in San Antonio, TX for a NP/PA to work within a free standing Urgent Care and in its' Observation Unit seeing chronically ill to acute care patients similar to a step down unit.

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
\n
• Must have at least 1+ years experience as NP/PA in high acuity and/or ER/UC settings
\n
• Clinic is open 7 days a week - 8a-8p
\n
• 13 shifts a month - 3 days a week - 12 hour shifts - of the 13 shifts a month 2 must be on the weekend (either same weekend or can be separate)
\n
• Volume 12-15 patients per provider
\n
• Length of stay per patient is typically 2.5-3 hours
\n
• Most visits are by appointment from Urgent Care or PCP's
\n
• Mostly senior populations but will see mainly adults some pediatrics
\n
