Salary: $240,000 - $335,000

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

\n About the Role:
\n The San Francisco VA Health Care System is seeking a dedicated and experienced physician to serve as the Medical Director for the Community Living Center (CLC). This leadership role supports high-quality, Veteran-centered care within a dynamic interdisciplinary environment.

\n Key Responsibilities:
\n • Provide clinical leadership for CLC providers and staff
\n • Oversee medical care delivery for CLC residents
\n • Support program development and quality improvement initiatives
\n • Ensure compliance with VA standards and accreditation requirements
\n • Collaborate with nursing, social work, rehabilitation, and administrative teams
\n • Participate in strategic planning for Geriatrics & Extended Care services

\n Qualifications:
\n • MD or DO degree
\n • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (Geriatrics preferred)
\n • Active, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
\n • Experience in geriatrics, long-term care, or post-acute care strongly preferred
\n • Leadership experience a plus
