Hospitalist, Gastroenterologist Hospitalist - Fort Lauderdale

Broward Health is seeking a GI Hospitalist to join our team at Broward Health Medical Center in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. This is a dedicated inpatient-only role designed for physicians who thrive in a collaborative, high-acuity hospital environment. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team focused on quality and patient-centered care.

Position Highlights

• This role involves managing inpatient and ED consults, overseeing GI-related admissions, and providing comprehensive care for adult/geriatric patients with acute and complex gastrointestinal conditions
\n
• 100% Inpatient Gastroenterology
\n
• No clinic requirement
\n
• Block Schedule: 1 week on/ 1 week off
\n
• Daily Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
\n
• After-Hours Call (during on week):
\n
\n
• Phone triage for ER and inpatient consults
\n
• Occasional return to hospital based on patient needs
\n
\n
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team in a high-volume tertiary care setting
\n

Compensation & Benefits

• Highly competitive base salary: $650,000.00 — $700,000.000 based on experience

Qualifications

\n
• BC or BE in Gastroenterology
\n
• Eligible for medical license in the state of Florida
\n
• Strong clinical skills in inpatient gastroenterology
\n
• Experience with ERCP and EUS preferred, but not required
