\nParkview Health is currently seeking a Board Eligible / Board Certified Hematologist to join our team at Parkview Packnett Family Cancer Institute in Fort Wayne, IN.
\nSpecifics of The Role
\n- \n
- Full-time Hematologist, with interest in both malignant and benign disease, to join a growing and vibrant team at the Packnett Family Cancer Institute. \n
- Seeking a specialty-specific hematologist but will consider a candidate with additional subspecialty interest in medical oncology in one of the following tumor types: Breast, GI, Lung, Head and Neck, Neuro/CNS, Melanoma and Sarcoma. \n
- Experience in advanced therapies, especially BITE and CAR T-cell therapy, would be beneficial. \n
- A unique opportunity to practice academic medicine in a community setting \n
- Academic style tumor site teams and tumor boards \n
- Low call frequency (<1 in 10) and all at one location \n
- Robust support services, including advanced practice providers, precision health, genetics, genomics, nurse and financial navigation, nutrition, cancer rehabilitation, palliative care, and survivorship. \n
- Opportunities to pursue scholarly activities such as clinical and outcomes research, and resident training. \n
