On-Call OB/GYN Hospitalist - 7 On/7 Off Schedule in Sterling, IL

OB Hospitalist Opportunity

We are a 99-bed independent community hospital located in Sterling, IL, operating under an employed physician model. Our organization currently employs approximately 77 physicians and 75 advanced practice providers across 35 medical specialties. In addition to our main hospital and clinic, we have 14 satellite facilities serving the surrounding area.

Position Overview

• Board Certified/Board Eligible
• On-Call Duties Only - No requirement to be present overnight
• Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off
• Vacation: 2 weeks plus 1 week for Continuing Medical Education (CME), totaling 23 weeks or 161 shifts annually
• On-Call Hours: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM from Monday to Thursday, and Noon Friday to 7:00 AM Monday
• Responsibilities: All standard duties expected of an Ob/Gyn hospitalist
• Annual Births: Approximately 550
• Facility Level: Level 2 Nursery
• Staffing: When fully staffed, the team will include 2 on-call Ob/Gyn hospitalists, 3 clinic-based Ob/Gyn physicians, and 3 women's health advanced practice providers/certified nurse midwives
