Job Description
The radiology division within our organization is seeking a diagnostic radiologist to join our team. This role is affiliated with a prominent medical group and is located in the vibrant Inland Empire region of Southern California, conveniently positioned between Los Angeles and Palm Springs. Our facility is ideally situated within an hour's drive of various recreational activities, including beach surfing, desert camping, mountain skiing, and cultural events in Los Angeles. Additionally, there are six major airports accessible within an hour.
Key Responsibilities- Engage in a diverse range of imaging studies, with optional mammography.
- Participate in the education of radiology residents, including teaching during their integrated clinical year, which commenced in July 2022.
- Conduct quarterly lectures for family and internal medicine residents.
- Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives and scholarly activities.
- Provide call coverage for fluoroscopic studies, weekend film readings from home, and share holiday coverage with the team.
- Work on-site from 8 AM to 5 PM, with an average of 1-2 shifts per week from home, during hours of 7 AM - 4 PM or 11 AM - 8 PM.
- Enjoy backup coverage as needed.
- Completion of a radiology residency program.
- Interest in a variety of imaging studies.
Our organization is a 439-bed university-affiliated teaching hospital, featuring over 60 primary and specialty care clinics throughout Riverside County. We host residents from various specialties, medical students, and critical care fellows. Our facility has received recognition as a Top Performer on Key Quality Measures by The Joint Commission, operates as a Level I Trauma Center, and has established a new Center of Excellence for Research, in addition to being a Primary Stroke Center.
Compensation and BenefitsThe starting base salary for this position ranges from $500,000 to $550,000, adjusted based on experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives and is subject to departmental compensation plans. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
