Position Summary
We are seeking a caring and dependable Certified Medication Technician (CMT). The ideal candidate will administer medications safely, assist residents with daily living activities, and ensure a high standard of care in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and in a timely manner.
- Document medication administration and resident responses per policy.
- Report any changes in resident condition or medication reactions to the charge nurse or supervisor.
- Take and record vital signs, weights, and other health data as required.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents.
- Uphold resident rights, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
Qualifications
- Current Missouri Certified Medication Technician (CMT) certification.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate attitude and genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred but not required.
