We are seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team in St. Petersburg, Florida. - Carry out physical therapy treatments as directed by the supervising Physical Therapist. \n
- Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to restore function and improve mobility. \n
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury-prevention techniques. \n
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjust treatment approaches as directed, and maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system. \n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including PTs, physicians, occupational therapists, and speech-language pathologists, to ensure comprehensive patient care. \n
- Maintain compliance with ethical, legal, and facility policies related to patient care and documentation. \n
Qualifications:\n

- Associate's degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program. \n
- Current Florida PTA license or eligibility for licensure. \n
- CPR certification (preferred). \n
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. \n
- Previous clinical experience preferred but not required. \n
Work Environment:\n

- Full-time position with consistent, predictable scheduling (40 hours per week). \n
- Potential work settings include hospitals, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, or home health. \n
